Audition

Students playing violins

Play for SYO!

If you are interested in auditioning for the 2016-17 season, please contact Victoria at victoria.mevs@yale.edu. We have completed our fall audition cycle for this season, but we do audition players at the beginning of the spring semester as well.

The Saybrook College Orchestra welcomes all Yale-affiliated musicians to audition for membership, whether undergraduate, graduate, alumni, faculty, or staff. The orchestra remains, however, predominantly composed of undergraduates from all of Yale’s twelve residential colleges. SYO rehearses once a week, on Friday afternoons from 3:30-6:00, in the Saybrook College Underbrook Performance Space.
